FD has "reports" generating features that can be useful but i still doubt they would find a need for that at the early stages - just reading. and if these people ask for your script in FD then it's probably not b/c they want to alter them. No one inside the industry will ask you for a script in celtx.

Unless you're selling your work to someone who requests the Final Draft file, there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to use Word macros or a free program like Celtx, and then submit your script as a PDF.
